So, assuming I pay with a credit card with a fake billing address and name (only the card details being real), what info can the merchant actually track?

Is it possible for them to get:
- real name
- real address
- IBAN
- etc.?

Stripe. there's info you provide during payment

Thank you. So, is all the info based simply on what the buyer decides to use? Or is some of it tracked through cc numbers?

I can't seem to make successful payments on a website with very good anti-fraud systems, so that's why I'm looking for help.
they collect metadata based on the merchant.. each has their own.
hope you're not digging this to cause financial harm

It depends. If the payment gateway is hosted by the merchant itself, they can get your card number, cvv2, address, ip, name and so on. If the merchant is using hosted gateway (as in, the payment form is managed by the gateway themselves), they still get your name, ip (can always be tracked onsite anyway) and address atleast. Now it might vary gateway to gateway.

Yes, that's the case, and that's what I assumed. Thanks.
