Hello all, maybe someone can help my as I don`t know what to do, I have some experience in websites, as I`m workin nearly 5 years and I made lot of modifications in scripts, but this I cannot crack...
So half years back I both code from envato. And few days back developer mate update and my support is expired, I need to pay again money... So in time I solved lot of websites problems with updates, but this one I cannot solve, seems everything easy, but it wont work, website is getting in basically any point 500 error.
I updated database, everything got fine.
This is from documentation: Important: Replace your current /vendor folder with the new one from the /Application folder (root of this zip archive) in this package. To avoid downtimes, you should zip this folder, upload it to your server, and extract it. If you don't have this option, you should rename the new folder to /vendor_new and upload it. After the upload you delete the old folder and rename the new one to /vendor.
Merge the content from the /Updated Files/ folder with the root folder of your application and overwrite the old files. On shared webhosting you need to upload all files from the /Updated Files/public folder to your document root (public_html or www).
So developer started to do some tricks in this section with vendor folder, as in downloaded files I got few folders, new code folder named Application, documentation and update folder. At the first ,he did not added vendor folder to update folder and I needed to took it from new code Application folder...
So I deleted old vendor folder and upload new one like in documentation, then I uploaded and rewrited all files and folders from update Updated Files folder. But code is not working.
So or I`m starting to be moron, or developer is making on envato bad updates to milk more money from support extension? Funniest thing that after he made update there is 5 people that get same problem, developer only saying same stuff, read documentation carefully, code is working... I opened refund case and he did not approve it, so I escalated to envato.
