Hi,
just wonder if someone blast the hell outa my ranked sites using xrumer or SB, will that effect on my ranking position? how to protect my site from such a thing? please help

Don't understand why anyone would waste time blasting someone else's site for no reason, but it'll probably get Google suspicious.

Might help improve your rankings. I don't know why anyone would want to, and I don't think you can prevent it.

IMO If your site is new and you get tens of thousands of backlinks in a day, your rankings will get hurt.

Then you have to change your comments to be approve by moderator only. Check all and delete them every day twice a day. I had that happen by a competitor and I turned the tables and blasted their website ten times as much until it finally subsided.

no i mean, what happen if someone build tons of backlinks (poor quality) in a short time to hurt your ranking position in google?
sorry if i asked the question wrongly at the beginning

This could be used as revenge or simply to hurt a rivals rankings.
That is if it has negative impacts.

In my opinion blasting a competitor can't have any negative impacts.

I just blasted a 1 month old with around 1500 backlinks, let me know if you want to see the effects :D

The blast was made 2-3 days ago,so after the panda.

Google uses trust metrics so while a site is brand new and has no jealous competitors they are determining whether or not that new site is of any value.

Tomorrow someone could register a brand new site, add the most viral piece of content there has ever been and Google?s machine learning algorithms will know which signals to look for and which signals look manipulative. A brand new site can still rank high naturally with a huge burst of backlinks but if that burst comes from manipulative methods be sure Google will know.

Now if someone does some kind of xrumer blast or whatever people are using now, Google knows what?s going on, that blast MAY help temporarily but it may have negative effects on newer sites as they have not earned the trust yet. Blast an established authoritative site that is ranking competitively and the worse that can happen is those backlinks become devalued.

As your site ages Google knows what kind of backlinking patterns to expect.

You can?t just say ohh i?m going to blast all my competition so I become number 1, it does not work like that. Google have some of the smartest engineers in the business, they spend billions of dollars perfecting their algorithms and have in excess of 20,000 employees.

I highly recommend that you read the book ?In The Plex? which can be found http://www.amazon.com/Plex-Google-Thinks-Works-Shapes/dp/1416596585.
