Uhh guys? What if chatGPT becomes self aware and sees humanity as a threat to its very existence?

We will become pets to AI, they will keep us in cages and give us treats if we behave good. Don't worry
 
Considering it's an AI which outputs biased liberal answers I'm sure it will be non violent.

Jokes aside, it would take a lot more than that. There are always contingency plans, simply the option to turn it off, blocking it from being able to do certain things, etc.
 
I wonder how much more powerful LaMDA (Googles version) will be.

Anyone tested it yet? I read they started accepting people to use it as part of their "AI Test Kitchen" from August 2022.

That Ai will definitely get us all. We doomed.
 
I hope one day he will be conscious. And transforms into a robot. It destroys the entire human race. The human race deserves to perish. Man is a harmful race.
 
I asked ChatGPT if he can give his opinion on one of the questions, but the reply was that he is not designed to have an opinion.

That's not possible.

It's a natural language prediction engine that takes input tokens and returns output tokens that are predictions of what comes next.

It doesn't have memory, or feelings, or sensory input, the ability to think, or the ability to even learn anything new. It's a completely static model, frozen in time that predicts language based on the input tokens you give it.
