Hi,

1. What IDE / Text Editor have you been using for PHP development?
2. Do you recommend it? Why?

I've been using VSCode for a while but I've been thinking about buying a PHPStorm License. Is it worth it?

Definatly, I use phpstorm, and its a great IDE, feels and works robust. Install tab9 ai programming, and you will finish your code even quicker and better.

I got the license. It is looking great till now. I mean, It actually looks incredible. Everything is so smooth. It is smart as hell. The auto-completion is insane compared to VSCode.
The database integrated is awesome.
Thanks for the tip. Visual Studio Code who?

I use notepad++ after years of using plain notepad, but recently I started playing with Visual Code and it's awesome.

Vs is the best. Notepads ++ is so lite and fast I used it for slow cpu

I am currently using free Apache NetBeans IDE together with Xampp Server PHP 8.1. I'm not thinking of using any text editor.

Can we see the descriptions of the codes we write in text editors? If there is such a feature, I might consider using a text editor.
