This is my website, 8 years old, all content written manually with 4000+ posts.
I found with MOZ PRO 3000+ backlinks (from 500+ unique domains) harmful, with anchor text like "fuck you", "shit", "fuck your website". I disavow via GSC ALL the domains 2 days ago. I didn't do any backlinks in 8 years, so this is all spam links from really strage websites.

I have no manual penalty, no alert in GSC.

Try moving the website to a new domain name... Redirect all the pages with 301.

Looks like you got negseo attacked

Only solution is to keep building quality links so you overwhelm the bad ones

This sucks though, proves nseo still works

Waste of money... but I guess you can ignore my advise and do whatever you want :-) I successfully recovered websites many times in the past by swapping domain name.

I tried in the past with another website. Buy new domain, give 301 redirect and get traffic back. After 1 week got hit again.

It sounds like you've done the right thing by disavowing those harmful backlinks through Google Search Console. Having an 8-year-old website with manually written content is a valuable asset, and cleaning up those spammy links is crucial for maintaining your site's health and rankings. Given the nature of those backlinks, it's clear they were likely part of a negative SEO attack.
As an SEO specialist, I recommend continuing to monitor your backlink profile regularly using tools like Moz Pro and Google Search Console. Additionally, ensure that your site’s technical SEO, content quality, and user experience are top-notch to further strengthen your site's resilience against such attacks. If you haven't already, consider setting up alerts for new backlinks so you can quickly address any future spam links.

Than must be something wrong with your website if it triggers the penalty again.

Continue building solid written content + buy new positive backlinks and guest posts + disavow those negative SEO

It's a negative seo. Try to perform a backlink audit and disavow the spam backlinks. Also, if you have not built any backlinks in 8 years you may received natural backlinks. You need to check where the links are coming from, what type of links, and what kind of anchors have been used to link back to your website. Just keep publishing quality articles and build backlinks from relevant sites.

This is Google's update, it has nothing to do with the famous “negative SEO”. You will not be able to recover, you must make a new website from 0. It is Google.

Disavowing is the only way to tell google that you don't want these links to be considered for your website.

Apart from that, you can also look at the pages these links are pointing to.. if those pages are not getting much traffic and not valuable for you then you can remove those from your website. These backlinks will turn into broken links then.

If the linked page is home page or other valuable pages then you can not remove them, you can only disavow and try to contact the admin of those sites and say you if such content is not removed then you will take legal actions for this defamation of your brand.

And if those pages that have content defaming your brand are indexed in google then you can use the tool "Report Content for Legal Reasons" for reporting the defaming content.

you can go for guest posting or positive backlinks that can boost your traffic of your site . or you can change your domain name

I disavow all links via GSC. I found with moz that many links point to my images on website (only 200 links point to my home page), so I'm deleting and replace the images with others. It's good strategy? The backlink will be "lost" and deleted with this strategy?
