What have you learned from scammers?

Haha that kid looks like he was actually very close to the ruling elite, both his parents were university professors. But, he got too cocky.

My parents have been a victim of scams ranging in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

What I learn is don't trust people easily especially if you think he or she is your 'lover'.

Don't gamble wealth on stock market(should be obvious but in the 90s it wasn't idk)

Don't trust someone just because they are affliated within a certain bloodline or that his/her parents were great people.

Don't trust your friends they are the biggest backstabbers ever. Ok this one is a lot harder to detect you can only see it in tough situations especially when you are broke.

Don't lease your land to shady developers. Especially ones that have ties to your family member or the ones that are recently created. Basically they will just use the land to get loan from the bank and run away with all that money.

Don't trust foreign corporations they might pack up and just leave you in the dust costing all your money. Ok this one is also hard to figure out if you have no experience in it.

Don't trust family members, also biggest backstabbers. They will be eyeing for that sweet land your parents have and do all kind of sh*t to you and your family. I don't know what to feel about this one or how it should be handled, depends on what family you have, perhaps my parents should have told us about it earlier before them reaching at a stage they cannot think properly.

Lawyers are double edged sword, be vary wary before seeking their services. Read their reviews etc. This one is also hard when you have 0 experience in dealing with them. You need to bring someone that have dealt with it to secure yourself or minimize the risk of being cheated.

And yes they lost all their money this way I get so frustrated sometimes as it haunts me. A bit of a rant but I hope it helps people..

I think it depends on your luck... some are lucky and some not.

I learned to check account date, previous posts and reputation from them. Also social media.

Never pay them lol.

I still cannot fathom how people fell for the Sartre scam. What was his biggest selling points for people - his multimillion dollar investement company website that was a half-finished elementor site for seo services a month earlier? Or his poorly photoshopped selfies of him going for a long walk on a beach with andrew tate? What exactly??

I don't get scammed because I don't believe in fairytales.

Oxymoron. If you cannot trust your friends blindly, they were never your friends in the first place, just acquaintances.
