What has been your biggest crypto loss? :(

I've lost about half my net worth in this recent crash, but 1 ETH = 1 ETH so I am not too worried. It was 2/3rds a few weeks ago.

Nothing that big to be remembered. Somewhere around 100$ just because some NFT rug pull.

$200k lost in staking UST this year =/
Seems like I missed this reply!

Anyway,
Man that’s really sad for you, I still remember very clearly when the day this happens. I was browsing through staking options on binance when I see their UST promotions, very high ROI and I thought to myself that I would probably gonna try it out.

Somehow, for whatever reason I did not pull through, and just hours later, not even 1-2 days have passed I think if I remember correctly, the LUNA UST fiasco happen.

It was wild crazy, and losing $200k from this shit man, it’s damn, not sure how to recover from that.

I am not pro in cryptocurrency but my biggest loss was about two years ago and was 12k. It was sad. But since then I don't invest in that unstable thing anymore.

I never sold, so I never lost, and nothing ever went to zero...

...except Luna where I tried to catch a falling knife and lost about $125. But I still have that Luna and Luna 2.0 from the giveaway that came after, and I don't know if they're worth anything. If they are, take that away from the $125 and my loss is less.

There you go...

110 eth 3 years ago. dumbest thing ever. Thank you for reminding me that

$1000 back in 2020 when the market crashed

Never sold. Only HODL.

Loss happens when you invest in rugpulls or shitcoins or when you trade.

When bitcoin was around $20 and I was doing some webwork for bitcoin because I didn't have a job at the time and I just treated it as cash on my taxes I traded it in for grocery cards. The first time I did it it worked. The last time the jerk sent me a card number that had already been used and wouldn't help me then he disappeared. I hope he enjoyed the $20,000 he stole from me ($20 at the time.) Honestly, I hope he lost it all on a hard drive somewhere and is crying in a closet or even better, donated it to someone who needed it. I really needed it at the time or I could have used it right now because of my situation. I also have an old bitcoin wallet with a fraction of a coin left but I get an error when trying to compile everything. It has about 12 weeks left to finish and crashes. I think it's only about $900 right now so it's not really worth anything and sits off on a hard drive waiting for an answer. I could use that money too :(

I actually turned $20 into $10,000 from Luna shit, I guess you just missed their absolute lowest price to buy. But before that I was burned like 1-2k which caused me to hesitate to buy more and hence that low $20 as my final attempt to catch the opportunity, as it turned out the $20 made me $10,000 and also cover the earlier losses

There was some new coin I was doing future trading with about $1500. I lost it all in 6-7 hours. I was so engaged to screen that I forgot the meal for that time. ha ha

For any good investor, losing money is a part of the process of making money so don't dwell on it, just move on....lessons learned, move on..
