I believe all souls gather at an afterparty on a silver cloud overlooking the Pacific ocean. Those who are assigned to Paradise are allowed for one last month of physical pleasures on Earth under another human disguise starting the morning after (pun intended). Those who go to hell are obligated to watch the others as they are going through their physical Earthly pleasure month.

Before I die I plan to eat tons of popcorn kernels without anyone knowing so my family have a funny surprise in my cremation.

We only fund the parties of Jr. VIPs and up, though. Jr Execs get a DJ, too.
 
After death, the soul reincarnates and is born into another physical body or form, it depends on your sin & virtue
