Background story.
I have postet som material on one of my bloggs. I got the material from a forum that I own. The material was postet on the forum by one of my members.

The material might be or might not be Copy from the person who throws the DMCA on me.

I have no chance to see if the material is a copy job, but I don't feel like going down with out a fight.

That's why I ask, What happends if I Counter his DMCA. Has anyone got any experience with this?

If your actually ready to bring this issue to court, than go through with it. In 95% of cases, the other party won't go further than a DMCA unless you are doing something that is greatly affecting their business. So, if this is just innocent material copied, then counter the DMCA or even ignore it, and most likely you won't hear from them again.

The bar to invoke DCMA is pretty low, and a lot lower than going to court. I would counter and take the chance, but I'm not a lawyer, so take that advice FWIW. -e-

The blog post is on Blogger.
Who will go court? Me or Google? I live a long way from the US, so going to court over there is not an option.

If you're not even in the US, than forget about being called out to court. Worst that could happen to you is that Google will remove your blog.
