What got you into this field?

When I was in high school, I had dreams of having a popular website all about theme parks. Testing and reviewing rides and experiences, getting to go see and try out all of the new roller coasters, skip the lines, the works.

It never came to fruition, but in the years and years since, I have learned so much. I'd still love to start a theme park review website someday. Far off in the future.

What is it that got you into the field of internet marketing/software development/web design/whatever it is that you do pertaining to this realm?

One of my friends made some money off Facebook. Me and his girlfriend thought that CPA check was gonna bounce to the sky. When it didn't, well, here I am.

I was a little kid around 12 years old playing Habbo Hotel. I thought the developers behind the Habbo fan page websites were really cool and I got very interested in how the websites were made. So I started coding some HTML. At this time CSS were not used so the front end of the websites were built with tables in HTML which was very messy.

A few years later I was building websites just for fun and when I realized that I could earn money by putting ads on them I added AdSense to a website and saw that I was actually earning real money from this.

Sadly I don't feel the drive for developing websites anymore. Now its all about the money.

Back in the day when i was around 13 (the time i got my first computer and internet connection) i used to be a mIRC freak, i was an Operator in one of the biggest chat rooms in my country, and i started developing(developing shit, just changing images and texts on already developed ones) custom mIRC scripts. I modded one good script and added a lot of tools from some other ones and it was a really good mIRC script for an operator so i had to share that one with the world

I didnt know shit about creating websites so i asked on some forum what software should i use to create website and somebody replied to me suggesting DreamWeaver, Fireworks, Flash (basically Macromedia Studio). I downloaded the 3 of them via my super fast dial-up connection and started creating websites. I used to make good money because there were not a lot of people developing websites in my country at the time.

This is how i got into website/design.

But one thing that i really cant get off my mind is that i joined this forum back in 2011, when i think it was a golden time but my 8-5 career was going pretty good at that time and i had to invest on that, so i left back the SEO projects i had started.

Hopefully this will not get me banned, but my old account was blackice666 (just on 6 less), i forgot the password and even the email that i was using back then, so i came back in 2014 trying to earn some additional money via SEO.

Mere coincidence.

On a chilly day of Jan 2008 i was downloading my daily porn intake from a rapidshare folder, in the folder besides the juicy stuff there was a money making ebook too, some method about classified ad posting and AFF. I gave it a read, i took action and i started making money from day 1 practically.

Soon after that, i wanted to scale up, so i was looking for an email autoresponder, Google pointed me in BHW's direction and i can't seem to withdraw myself from here since then.

there was this guy on my neighbourhood that was making bank with IM but he never shared anything with me and a few other friends so most likely a SEO search term brought me here

Same with BigBuddy - Necessity (looking for other income sources)
I stumbled upon the world of IM because I had clients whose businesses where IM based, then I kinda went along from there.
I elso enjoy learning lots of stuff from this field.

I needed to make money to pay a $50 phone bill. So I got on CL looking for a job. Found an article writing job for $1 per article.

And years later I'm still here.

Now I'm making $5 an article. :thefinger

Read about HTML when I was 11 , then going to some "underground" forum and doing some website hacking(mostly SQL Injection) , then I did learn PHP for coding and 2 years ago I heard about Amazon Affiliate from one of my friend and he said that, "hey buddy , there are guys who earns tons of money from it !", he's still trying to figure out how to register for Amazon Associates while I already failed with 2 amazon sites and 1 adsense site.

I found out I could make money off of camwhores and not the other way around. I then got into running some sites instead of being just a forum poster and found BHW since I heard it was best place for learning SEO.

I came for the bitches.

I came across BHW plenty of times when I was 14-15 searching things related to making money online but never paid attention to BHW.

Then one time I came across BHW again I noticed people was making a lot of money doing "SEO" so I learned what "SEO" ment and then learned how to do SEO by reading BHW threads and googling EVERY question I had about SEO.
