OK, I know I should always ping a new blog post or webpage when it's created. - either automatically in Wordpress or with something like pingler.com. When I do a manual ping with pingler.com, I see it contacting places like: "blogsearch.google.ro/ping/RPC2 - Thanks for the ping." What exactly happens after "blogsearch.google.ro/ping/RPC2" is notified of my update? It's telling the Google bot to take a look at what I've done? Does the Google bot do this immediately or is it cached somewhere? Does this guarantee that my page will be indexed? Will ANYTHING be indexed if I ping it? (like a profile page that I create in Angelas backlink package) If I want a webpage indexed, should I build a backlink to it with a bookmarking site or is pinging enough?
