So, I almost never use my gmail for anything SEO related - sales, purchases, reports... I've been using yahoo for most of my stuff - hosting, orders and everything else pretty much. I don't wanna use it anymore since there was that yahoo password dump and I'm afraid there will be more. So, what do you guys use and is using gmail "safe" to use for SEO stuff? I really like gmail, but kinda scared of using it for SEO stuff. Any recommendations?

protonmail.com or gmx.com are defiantly what I think is best.

Using gmail.com for SEO is a really no go I know they cross check data from the whole system like the NSA :)

Heard some good stuff about protonmail. I used GMX for linkbuilding, don't really like them since accounts get banned or blocked whatever within a few days. Thanks tough!

I have many email accounts and most of them are in use. I use protonmail for personal inquiries as well as business with people I know personally - you can say this is my "real" mail, gmail is a google services dump, yahoo was original master mail for non-important sites, fastmail.co.uk is for pure spam and gmx is currently out of use.

However, SEO I strongly suggest purchasing a domain and making an email account yourself.

That's what I've been thinking in the last few days, make a random website and have my own email.

Good thought OP. You need to know that Gmail is not safe for your valuable documents such as images, word, sheet etc. For that better you use Hotmail and it protects your privacy.

In case you guys are using yahoo like me, stop it right now. I'm gonna switch right away to something else:

    http://thehackernews.com/2016/10/yahoo-email-spying.html

"So Secretive Even Yahoo Security Team was Unaware of It

The email search tool was so secretive that even Yahoo's own security team was unaware of the program.

Yahoo Chief Executive Marissa Mayer and Yahoo General Counsel Ron Bell not only decided to comply with the directive rather than fighting it back, but they also did not even involve Yahoo's security team in the process, the report suggests.

Instead, Mayer and Bell asked Yahoo's email engineers to write a secret software program to siphon off messages containing the specific character string the spies demanded and stored them for remote retrieval, according to the sources.

Therefore, when Yahoo's security team discovered the program in May 2015, the team initially thought some hackers had broken in."

Why not use hotmail/outlook? I use that for all such SEO stuff. I don't care if Bing bans me or deindexes my website lol.

Just use your own domain, I personally use myname.mytld, though you could go with something more generic. Or why not both, domains are cheap.
