All incoming and outgoing emails with attachments are automatically scanned for viruses. If a virus is found in an attachment that the reader opens, Gmail automatically removes the virus and opens the newly scanned attachment.
That was not exactly my question. Social media accounts do not send you viruses. So, that is not a concern.
Maybe you can try hotmail, i think it's cheap and better than gmail for things you need

I see some people have hundreds of accounts. I don't think GMX allows that.
Outlook allows up to 10 (or was it 11) emails under the same account that are not traceable back to each other.
Of course they allow it, you just need to know how to do it. They don'task your ID when you create an email. Google, Yahoo it's harder to create bulk email accs than GMX
