Hello guys,
I have a website about free online games. Its traffic is 500 clicks per day, and my goal is 1.000 click per day. I’ve started a Google Ads campaign and built backlinks. What else can I do to increase its traffic?
Hope you guys can give me suggestions.
Thanks in advance!

500/day is a good start.
Focus on what’s already working expand similar content around your top pages, improve internal linking, and keep adding/updating games regularly. Also work on better titles so you get more clicks from the same rankings.
Small improvements consistently can push you to 1k/day.

focusing on content quality, technical SEO, user experience (UX), and brand visibility.

To grow your traffic further, you should focus on improving your on page SEO by targeting the right keywords, optimizing titles, and updating your content regularly. You should also work on internal linking so your pages support each other and keep users on your site longer. This helps both rankings and user engagement.

Another key area is site speed and overall user experience, especially on mobile devices. A faster and smoother site can improve both rankings and conversions.

Since you are in the gaming niche, try publishing fresh content like new games, guides, trending topics and gain more backlinks from high quality sites. Consistent updates combined with good SEO will help you move from 500 to 1000 clicks per day.

I’m considering running ads on X, Youtube, Instagram, or Facebook. Do you think it would be effective?

You’re already doing the basics. Try improving on-page SEO, updating existing content, and targeting long tail keywords. Also focus on internal linking and user experience to increase engagement and clicks.

Stats are already good on your site, try running some ads for your site and try getting some positive reviews regarding experience with your game.

You can start optimizing your game thumbnails or adding social sharing buttons to make things go viral

: target long-tail keywords, improve page speed, and publish fresh game-related content regularly.

Dude, besides backlinks, have you really dug into on-page seo for specific game titles and categories on your site, high-quality articles, better internal linking

I think besides backlinks, you can try improving your content and adding more pages tagreting effective keywords. In my experience, updating existing posts and making them more engaging can also try sharing on social platforms for more audience. As a beginner, I think here is mixing of all small things can work better.

Create more SEO-optimized content and improve your existing pages. Also focus on quality backlinks and low-competition keywords for faster growth.

You’re already on the right path now it is about scaling smartly. Focus on targeting low competition longtail keywords, publish new game pages regularly, and optimize your titles and meta descriptions to increase click through rates. Also, update existing pages that are already getting impressions in Google Search Console, improve internal linking, and make sure your site is fast and mobile friendly for better user experience. Finally, tap into trending games and embed videos from YouTube to boost engagement and bring in extra traffic.

Try to improve your website's SEO by optimizing your content with relevant keywords. Also, you can promote your website on social media platforms to reach a wider audience.

Right track with ads and backlinks, but focus more on content and user experience. Add new games regularly, target long-tail keywords (like "play free racing games online no download"), and optimize your titles/descriptions for better CTR. Improve page speed and mobile usability since most players come from phones. Also, create simple blog content or game guides to bring in extra organic traffic. Finally, share your games on social media and gaming forums to get consistent referral visitors.

Update your content consistently and optimize it with strong internal linking. At the same time, build high-quality backlinks targeting your main keywords with high search volume.

Is that 500 organic clicks or from ads only?

Websites like that usually have large amounts of pages.

You can:
  • focus link-building on the homepage to give overall boost
  • open a Blog section and publish game related content like guides for example
  • improve and add more content on the pages of games themselves

Content expansion is the easiest lever at 500 clicks a day. More game categories, game reviews, top lists by genre, anything that targets additional long-tail keywords people actually search for.
Also make sure your most popular games have strong internal linking to related games, keeps people on site longer and helps SEO.

500 per day is not bad. Have you tried targeting long tail keywords like "free [specific game type] games no download"? Also make sure your game pages are properly interlinked, that alone can bump crawl frequency and push more pages into ranking.

to increase its traffic
Focus on making your content and overall experience better. Add more game pages, keep descriptions simple, and go for specific searches like “free racing game for kids” instead of broad ones.
Link your pages so users can easily jump from one game to another.
Keep your site fast and smooth on mobile; people leave quickly if it’s slow.
Share your games on social platforms to bring in extra traffic.
And stay consistent (add new games, improve old ones, and keep things active)
