EDIT: He sent the Payment 40 minutes after sending him the e-mail entailing what I was going to do.
Hello BHW,
Today, I've decided to devote my full time and attention to someone who feels it's funny to not pay writers for their time or work. While the money would be nice, I could care less about the money. It's about not being a complete shitbag. I should also clarify he's not a member of BHW that I know of so I can't open up a thread on the Shitlist thread calling him out. He's another one of those WarriorForum people.
So, while I'm not going to post any of his information, I don't want anyone to be my personal army. What else can I do?
A little background:
He hired me to write his sales copy and edit the terrible grammar in his e-book. Something about Facebook Domination and making $200-400 a day. It's a complete rip and he's BSing naturally, as he's releasing this into a WSO.
Well, I made sure I got upfront payment for those, he didn't pay much but meh, I like writing.
Then he decided to have me do his e-mail campaigns, I did them all and he then received them, removed and blocked me and refuses to answer e-mails. Alright, that's fine
I could just walk away and let this be one of those things where they simply get away with it, but nah, I've got all the time in the world to devote to this person now.
The info I have on him:
His registrat information, his e-mail, his address, his telephone, his Facebook, his Twitter, a link to his banned WF account, proof that I've sent his work, his Skype and I even found a page that told me when he's launching his WSO and how much it's going to be. He plans on contacting affiliates soon as well.
I gave him one more day to pay me. If he doesn't, here's my current set of plans:
- Alert the mods of his presence and his new account. Present them
proof that he has been banned, present them his website, alert them
of his product and his upcoming WSO and that he failed to pay me.
- Mail out to hundreds of different affiliates making sure they will be
known of his presence and be warned.
- Put his product on every single forum I'm apart of. I will encourage others to look out for his WSO in return. I know how people just love these kind of scumbags.
- Since he's making such high claims, I think I might even let the FTC know about his little business venture.
- If I do that, I'll also contact his hosting company.
Any other recommendations on this one? It's a measly $27, but like I said, this really isn't about the money. It's about not screwing over freelancers who put in a lot of time and work for you. I've had times where I needed the work I had, but I really enjoy freelancing in my spare time for people.
