what domain worth? .US or .NET ? ( I think it will be targeted on US)

Hy to all.
I wish to launch one site with some affiliate product.
The .com domain are not available. Only .US and .net.

My main target ( I think ) is united states..( for now I plan to use Amazon.COM affiliate for my product.) I think it is not worth to sell outside US.

What do you recomend ...us or .net? ( for seo purpose and for the "image" of my domain in the eye of my "customers"..)

(also, as a problem..when I search for the specific products I sale, amazon.com is listed in the first place for that specific product..) It is hard to beat amazon?
I will have the full name of my product on my site name... eg: my-product.US

2) any advice. I am from Romania EUrope. It is better to have the server IP for my site from United States or from my country ( or Europe) to rank easyer..?

Amazon is easy to beat, because they don't do any seo work on those pages, they just go on authority... I think .net is better, but who knows these things...

Is there no chance of altering the domain slightly so you can get the .COM? If not, then .NET. But seriously, try and get the .COM.

no chance to alter the domain name..THE NAME IS PERFECT for my niche. the problem is extension..

It is a very narrow domain and it is good that I founded some available..
I will use something like ...(is not about guitars..but..)
www.spanish-guitars{dot}net or US.
I do not need another word inside. I already have 2 words domain. I think 3 words domain are not good for seo. The 3-rd is useless.
Also the Googles local searches are mainly for those 2 main words..

but why .US is not good? because of the Google algorithms or because of the eyes of the customers?
I have to live in US in order to be able to buy a such extension??

OK ..I solved the problem. I speak with my provider and I canot buy a .US domain name, because I DO NOT LIVE IN U.S.A.
so ....net extension is the way or a .com ( but I canot find one good and short)

doesn't need to be short, just needs to have the keywords and show up on the first page...

well go for .org its the best i think

If i sell affiliate products from amazon.COM, ..it is very important or is not important to have my site IP from US? Can I register it from...India?? This affect my SEO ?
