I'm starting my first link pyramid and I'm trying to figure out what exactly is the best setup I could implement, so I'm looking for some input on what other people's link pyramid designs look like?

I am a big fan of link pyramids and tiered link building. I have set up a tutorial on how I do it and get my sites ranking up :

Code:
[TABLE="width: 1062"]
[TR]
   [TD="width: 1062"]http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/542343-new-domain-medium-competitive-keywords-here-we-go.html[/TD]
 [/TR]
[/TABLE]

here's a brief summary of mine...

LOLs aside, this is EXACTLY the way it should be done. One tier of buffer sites pointing to money sites. Then spam your ass off on the next tier. I don't understand why people go wild with tons and tons of tiers, all they do is dilute link juice...

That's what I have been wondering about, so really I should just build 2 tiers to get most ranking done? In which the second tier is just me spamming links to the first of web2.0s?

That pic is pretty funny btw

does the PR matter of the web2.0 sites you build tier 1 webpages on is? Or is the more pages the merrier for tier 1 regardless of the domains PR ?

What is really important is the URL PR rather than the domain PR.. wordpress.com or org or whatever is PR9 but your 1 week old wordpress site is PR n/a.. but yeah, better pick the big ones, and then if you have time, do the smaller PR ones too...

Ok

Also for tier 1 does the anchor text need to be varied greatly that points to my money site or should I just use keyword anchor mostly?
