What does this spike in visits mean?

As the title says. I have barely any visitors then I hit 390 in a day or two then back down to none.

Must have been a change in google algorithm. This happened to me a few years back. I had a website that was getting no traffic for months. Then one day, boom! 600+ UV in a day. It didn't last long just like yours.

Before some days ago there was new age release so might be you get the bounce..

You would know better than anyone else. Have you been sharing links on social media? Has another site mentioned yours in a blog post or on social media? Have you done anything to your site that would cause people to start visiting it? Do you have links in a signature on a forum somewhere? Check your referral reports in analytics and see where those visits came from. I doubt anyone here will be able to tell you why you have a spike in visits without more information.
