What does “Other” Mean? (View Insights)

I usually don’t care about the other category but I noticed that my recent post that got very high engagement (12%) had like 10x the number of impressions from “Other” Than I usually get. Sometimes I see “Explore” instead of hashtags If I dont use hashtags...


Can someone elaborate on these? Thanks.

"Impressions from Other could be generated by:

• Posts that have been shared through direct messages
• Posts that have been saved
• Posts you've been tagged or mentioned in
• Post notifications that you've been mentioned or tagged in
• Posts that show up on the Following tab in your notifications"

Thanks, but all of these except 1 and maybe 3 don't make sense because I am on Instagram, not facebook... But I guess that means that its an overlooked overlap of the two platforms and no one knows.
