Yes I agree with you.Any question from newbies are precious as they really don't know a thing and they come here and ask queries with lot of hopes that they will get answers...
If you read some of our responses and trawl through alot of the threads/posts you will find normal newbies who know what google search is having their question answered and often responding.
If someone is bone lazy then why do you or anyone else expect "us" to keep helping them.And often, when we have bothered..they just vanish..after awhile this gets to be a pain..
Feel free to help them though..!
And I did answer the newbies question..
Yes, a newbie will ask a question, and a member of this "GROUP" will "CONSISTENTLY" feel obligated to follow up with a negative comment

Everything can be found on the web so does that mean this forum is obsolete. If you don't want to reply just go to another thread. Why add reply to a thread that has no point. Just remember that you didn't had the knowledge you have now from birth. You were newbie once and I am sure you asked someone this same sort of question. Be respectful and if possible try to help otherwise just move along.

I'm with you in spirit! I agree, people should ask questions. That said, part of proper communication with those whom one solicits for mentoring includes both a posture of humility and a respect for the time of others. I believe the basic tenet of the frustrations people have expressed in their posts (in this regard) includes the fact that the definition of cloaking could have been gathered by employing a cursory search. It is not so much that a newbie sought out a basic question, but that the OP did so without first making a basic effort to respect the time of others by trying to discover the answer. Surely you cannot imagine the OP made efforts to read the openly-available threads and discover the answer before posting.
It seems just, then, for the members here to object to those who so readily waste the time of others. If they survive the smack-down of outrage, they may turn into productive and beneficial members here. If they cannot accept their actions are objectionable, and alter their behavior toward courteous and respectful communications, then they should go away and employ their douchbaggery elsewhere.
