What does a natural backlink profile look like?

So if I have a website and I have 100 homepage backlinks from people in my industry, this is powerful, but it does not look natural.

What should I add and in what percentage to make the backlink profile look natural?


For example 200 links of:
20 percent niche relevant blog comments
30 percent non-niche blog comments
100 non-nitche backlinks.

if you get links from genuine or/and decent websites, u don't really have to worry about having natural stuff,
you can only rank with homepage links without any need to worry about all of the others, they won't make any change most probably

it doesn't. That's why people throw all sorts of backlink types into their profile

anything and everything you can get your hands on (profile links, backlinks from pdf sharing sites, from image sharing sites, from youtube / video sharing sites, bookmarks, article directories, link directories, wiki backlinks, edu blogs, edu profile links, web 2.0s, etc.)

Also, be sure to also get image links, too, not just text links because a naturally growing site will get references from all types of sources.

And the percentages only matter in isolated cases (for anchor texts for example) and as general guidelines. The math of SEO is not precise, you need to use averages and common sense most of the time. Like I said, the only think you need to be careful about is the anchor text, not to keyword over-stuff it (5-6% exact match anchor texts are safe and enough for most backlinking campaigns, the other 94-95% of the backlinks should vary a lot: brand terms, naked URLs, no hyperlink at all, generic terms, etc)

That is why you need diversity backlinks. These diversity backlinks come from all sorts of sites and forms. Forums, comments, profile links etc. Mix them up.
