Considering all the scams that have been reported on this site lately I wonder if anyone knows
what types of documents or IDs I should be asking from an individual before any money exchanges hands...
Is a SSS ID, address, images of the business, income statements enough? Also is a digital contract safe?

This is what the person is offering to give me. But I really don't know if that would be enough if he suddenly decides
to bolt... Any suggestions?

scammers gonna scam and if you ask for too much stuff they would move on anyway.
So maybe test them and ask for the world - and if they say no - you probably avoided a scam.
They probably have alot more experience at it than you unfortunately.

didn't answer your question I know - but I think you get what I am saying.

1. Check to see if the person has a registered Corp or LLC find the address
2. Ask a person how he plans to take payments paypal or CC whatever u do ALWAYS!!! pay the person with credit card, if it is a scam visa & mastercard gives u up to 6 months to
file a chargeback and get your money back.

3. have a attorney look over legal documentation, know one in there right mind wants to scam when there's legal representation involved cause dabbling in a fraud transactions 9 x outta 10 will land his ass in jail.

For future reference, always have a attorney on retainer, to just look over legal documentation most if not all scammers won't even try you when u tell them hey bro fax it over to my attorney and he or she will look it over. If this is a overseas transaction ill put it like this, don't do it unless you known this person for 3 years + and that still doesn't mean anything these days.

I think the first question should be what kind of JV are we talking? You can't ask for the world when you trying to leverage someone elses talent. You will find yourself getting ignored.
