what do you use to build your list?

hi all. just wandering what tools you use to build your lists? i know of aweber and so on. but what other ways do you use? aweber costs, iis there any other option other than aweber? any free methods about? scripts etc etc..

I use iContact for a lot of my lists. They give you a free account up until 250 subscribers and then they charge based on subscriber amount. I think it's $14.99 for up to 1000.

It depends on what you are wanting to build a list for.

I use aWeber for my Free Opt-In Lists.

I use 1ShoppingCart for my Opt-In Lists for product and service customers.

The reason I use 1ShoppingCart for my product and service customers is because I have my gateway account set up with 1ShoppingCart as well, so I take all my orders through their service.

Once I have a customer in any of my 1ShoppingCart accounts, I can cross sell them with other products, etc. It's quite a seamless operation.

It's all personal preference though.

There are a ton of autoresponders on the market to choose from that best fits what you are looking to do.

Aweber is probably the best value in the long run. Other websites offer cheaper packages but they limit the amount of subscribers you can have so if you plan on building a list over 1000 people i would pay the money for aweber, If not try icontact they offer a 15 day free trial

P.S. constantcontact also offer you a 60 day free trial but they limit you to 100 subscribers
