I have a new site, about 2 months old. It has no back links yet.

I just got myself a copy of SliqSubmitter. After all the updates G implemented, is submitting the site to directories a good idea?? Or will it hurt my site in the long run??

If you aren't currently ranking for anything what do you have to lose? I seriously doubt you'd get penalized, but since you have no rankings anyways it's basically like you're already penalized.

I was on 2nd page of G for my main keyword. But after the most recent G update, my site went to page 16... I guess I will start submitting to directories and just see what happens.

Thanks for the input. I started submitting to directories so I guess only time will tell how it effects the site.

If your going to bulk submit make sure to at least vary your anchor text. It's a new website so you don't have much to lose anyway.
