    Google analytics shows that people are visiting my site after searching for a Local competitor's name in the search bar. Normally it's 2 visits for each competitor and there are many.
    I pay for google adwords, do you think it's their seo guy clicking on my links? What else could that be? I guess it could be people searching for a company and then looking at their competition.. :dunno:


    Any thoughts?

    Sounds like someone doing research or competitive analysis to me.

    Yep definitely just a case of "checking out the competition". I've even done it!

    Yeah it is almost certainly one of your competitors taking a peek at your site for one reason or another, as the two posters above have said :)
