What do you think about using software to generate backlinks for a website? If the software creates high-quality backlinks that are comparable to those built manually, will Google still consider them spam and potentially have a negative impact on the website?

In other words Google does not seem to care about whether any piece of software was used in creating these links; the process is much more important. However, if the software used in the process generates many similar links, problems may arise

It is so bcz the process of creating backlinks for you necessarily entails repetitive practices, and this is precisely what raises a flag instead of the tool being used.
The safest way is to use software in terms of research and outreach bt keep the practice of creating links natural.
No uniformity in the practice of link creation in the world of SEO can last long.

Software always creates patterns and footprints in timing or anchor text that Google easily catches. even if individual links look good, the automated pattern will eventually trigger a penalty and tank your site.

Google doesn't care about the process but only cares about the end result. If you have high quality backlinks, then it should be fine. But there is no such software that can create high quality backlinks. Most tools create spam links in bulk for churn and burn projects.

Building a relationship is far from searching for it, and never should it be confusd with that. this program is a great tool in identifying posible relationship, yet the best ones are those in which you have been able to get your leg in the door. while you’re on gogle, it is only you that matter.

If that were true then we'd just be firing off GSA links at all our competitors using the cheapest, dirtiest lists possible, and watching for these 'penalties' to trigger.

No tool can perfectly copy natural, human driven outreach at scale. Once Google’s AI detects the machine made link pattern, your website's rankings will drop.

Again, if this were true you'd just blast every site above you in the SERPs to trigger the 'drop'. Stop parroting this shite.

using software to generate backlinks can be risky. real high-quality links require human outreach, which software can not do. that is why google may consider such links spammy or unnatural.

if that software creates high-quality backlinks that are just as good as manually generated ones

Can you give a bit more explanation to this ?
Because I have seen many tools being built for backlinks but most of them are for sourcing, maybe outreach and managing emails

There is definitely still human control for QA before link fulfillment. So that is why I want to understand if this kind of software is what you mean when you say "high quality" because aside from that, if it is completely hands-off software, then there is a very high chance that you are talking about spam links created through automation and Google will definitely come back to bite you in the ass

I think google cares about the quality and relevance of the backlink rather than how they were created. If the links are natural and comes from relevant websites then they are more safer than low quality or spammy backlinks.

If the links are genuinely editorial relevant and placed naturally far likely to be a problem If the links are genuinely editorial, relevant, and placed naturally, they're far less likely to be a problem

Using software to build backlinks is a direct violation of Google's strict anti spam rules. Even if the links look great initially, the automation leaves hidden footmarks that will get your site penalized.

Such trash backlinks are readily available on fiverr. You can give it a try and test them out before investing in a software.

if the backlinks genuinely come from quality niche relevant pages the method used to create them is less important than the final result i focus on the quality of the links not how they were built

I think it depends on how the software is used. If it's creating relevant, high-quality links that look natural, it can still work. The biggest risk is using it at scale with low-quality or obvious spam links. Google cares more about the quality and pattern of the links than whether they were built by a person or software.

If they are high quality - they couldnt be a spam. But on the other hand, no automated software can do such link. Its purpose to make a lot of spammy and low quality links.
