What do you think about those Backlinks? Over 300,000!

So I've been searching some backlinks on my competitors lately and look what i found:
This website: http://www.webhostingsearch.com/ got over 300K of backlinks and most of them based on domains!
like domain.com - his keyword, domain2.com - keyword etc.. what would be a good explanation to that? NO way he owns over 60K of domains pointing at his website ..

300K backlinks is not that much. Many websites have millions.

Edit: also, you don't need to post the URL, it might be a bhw member's site..
