My friend made it and i hardly beleive he is struggling with making money.

I really like his designs

And no, i'm not the friend, i suck at design, im rather a coder guy

Join your coding skills to his design skills and do something. But the design is not that bad, i can see it beeing sold for 5 to 20 $
 
Minimalistic but I like it. Simple and straight to the point of rocket! Your friend can learn a lot by trying to do other design and can earn money as freelancer.

I think is not the Envato's or Graficriver's level. There are a lot of professiona freelancer with companies and full time dedicated to the graphics.
 
Hi, thanks for the respond! Im iMacrosguy's friend he was talking about.

Im not advanced at all, but I love doing these simple, clean and nice looking stuff!

I looked at the design and thought it was basic and quite poor - I was going to say I can understand why you aren't making money.

But I just looked at your portfolio and the other designs are much, much better.

My suggestion would be to use one of the others as a sample and not the rocket - first impressions count.

Thanks for your responce! Yeah, I was quite happy with the rocket design, but I like some of my other works better.
Thing is that everything I do is pretty much basic. But I will keep this in mind
 
Go set up a gig on Fivver and other similar sites and also create a blog where you can put your designs as your portfolio.
 
I got a gig on Fiverr, but without success, I even used exchange groups, had a detailed 1200 word description. I haven't updated with my latest works though, might put up another gig too.
 
Yes, pretty good! :) Especially with that background, I really like it.
 
I like it because It's nice a simple. I don't like complicated designs and this one seems to be just right.
 
The problem is that he could have done that with template vectors. True design is not about making crisp vectors. It's about understanding the elements of functional design.

Would like to check your portfolio. Also you can try with dribbble.com ! if you can get a pro account there you dont have to worry about anything

Yeah i've been on Dribbble but only as a regular member to get some inspiration! Pro account isn't that expensive but yet I dont have money or skills to put stuff up on dribbble.
