What do you think about these names?

What do you think about these brand names:

1. BitcoinRoot
2. BTCdude

They are heavily leaning towards all things Bitcoin.

Also, I suspect the BTC price is going to reach $100k per coin within 2 years max.

What would you do with these names?

What kind of platform?

If you want honesty, I dislike both tbh.. BitcoinRoot makes no sense and BitcoinDude sounds cheap

I think BitcoinRoot is a combination of two simple words in their simplest form. It is also easily brandable and it is very difficult to get such a domain name where two very popular words come together to make something memorable.

The name is also intuitive and keyword-rich, which adds value to it. Bitcoin itself is a major keyword, but you can also use the word “Root” around your content, such as going into the “roots” of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency and explaining it to the masses, or providing services based on Bitcoin, with the currency being the “root” of your business. Any number of ideas can be used with this domain name.

Here are some other possible uses of this name:

• A website providing cryptocurrency learning resources for beginners and enthusiasts, enabling them to use this site as a “root”, or starting point for getting into crypto.
• A forum for connecting crypto enthusiasts and providing valuable cryptocurrency-related advice, especially Bitcoin
• A Bitcoin archive, monitoring and recording the coin’s progress and price history, major events related to Bitcoin, and other statistics such as market capitalization.
• A platform for buying and selling Bitcoin, similar to exchanges such as Coinbase.

You could use any word in that way though.

Cryptoslippers.com could be a website where:

- people come to relax and read about crypto
- a crypto community for old people who want to connect with other old crypto users
- a place where people can buy slippers with Bitcoin

But it's still a not a good name which makes you screw your face up when you first read it, just like BitcoinRoot.com does imo.

"Root" means literally nothing, no matter how much you try to shoehorn it into some kind of meaning. A name like BitcoinHero.com is a winning name, or a name like BitcoinHub.com. BitcoinRoot is not and that's why it's still available. Just like BitcoinCabbage.com I would imagine.

By that way, one more constructive critique - literally all of the ideas you listed have all been done already, multiple times over each. If you combine a wishwashy brand name with an idea that's already got a bunch of platforms doing it that have been operating for years, you're almost guaranteeing your failure.

Look for a better name that has meaning, even if you have to spend more for it, and look for new ideas or upgrades of old ideas.. not the same old worn path that's been walked along in the crypto space for years already.

Lastly, "bitcoin" + "root" is not keyword rich. "bitcoin" + "trading" is keyword rich, and "crypto" + "strategies" is keyword rich. But the word "root" is not a high value keyword within the crypto space at all, any more than the word "slippers".

If you want brandable and powerful crypto domain names, go for "coin" + (a legitimate and relevant keyword).com, like how "coin" + "base" is a strong brand, or "coin" "marketcap" does the same.

There aren't a bunch of high profile crypto brands that start with "bitcoin" for a good reason.. they got snapped ages ago and the people holding them think they're worth $100,000 each. I own about 100 "coin" + (good keyword).com's, they're a much better place to look for solid domains than "bitcoin" domains.
