what do you think about the .xyz

are they the next big thing?. i found a couple good domains that are not registered. should i take them? is anyone registering .xyz for a future resale?

Considering they're $1 at Namecheap, I would register them. I think .xyz will become fairly popular... anyway, no BIG THING, just fairly known by people.
Someone is spending lots of money to make them popular, Namecheap's offer for $1/first year has been running for a long time... and Namecheap doesn't usually have this kind of discounts.
I've also seen many registrars offering free/discounted .xyz for a limited period of time, so ... somebody is losing money to make them popular. Now that google bought abc.xyz, it'll probably help too

Yeah unless you've got tons of cash to market your xyz brand, it's gonna end up like .info or .biz IMO. Doesn't draw credibility from average folks.

 

Does anyone want to take GayAndHorny.xyz from me? I got like 50 similar .xyzs just to troll my friends :lmao:

 

I wouldnt want to register a business under .xyz im not even sure about. .biz

 

IMO, Those extensions are BS, honestly. We love .com and it will probably stay like that for a long time.

 

since namecheap offering .xyz in $1/year. I have over 50 .xyz domains with them now. I mean you never know what will happen in future. it might become a BIG thing in near future, at least I hope so.

 

i just buy this, it's just cost 8rmb, only $1.2. just try it.

 

Think - will man in the street trust .xyz or wonder what it is.
