Honestly, there's not much to like about it. If a designer would present you this logo you'd say "that's plain ugly, it's not worth anything"

Just goes to show you that branding is so much more important

Google's new logo is even simpler. Using flat and crisp sans serif typeface. However many veteran designers concern that this trend could unfairly make decorative fonts look ugly.

Simple, to the point logo. I think it matches well with the name. The logo "feels" like how the name sounds.

I prefer their last logo that debuted on September 1, 2015. It is designed to work across multiple devices. And this is really great.

Goes to show that you need to provide a great service and the recognition will be captured in the logo no matter what it looks like.
IMO google has a very simple and memorable logo. + they have uncountable cool variations of it. If there any any graphic designers out there, google is constantly looking for new ideas for their "google doodles". Just GOOGLE it...as I cant add links as of yet
