For a little bit of FUN, then gambling isn't a problem.
Games of skill can be profitable but as a system to make money then I would advise most people to stay away from it.

Agreed, if you like it and can keep it under control, sure, gaming is a good way to try to make some money while having fun. But as an actual method of trying to increase your investment, it's horrible. The games are designed to profit the people running them, so how could you profit in the long run?

people gamble online everyday, blackhat methods is a gamble...if u can come up with a way to increase your chances of winning by all means

If you are talking sports bookie wise, if you know a lot about sports, you could try it. Don't put a lot of money, make small bets and see. It's hard unless you know what you are doing (lots of luck involved).
But casino wise, it's a very dumb idea imo. Unless you are a professional poker player, then NO. Gambling has ruined a ton of lives.... I used to gamble online from time to time, but for fun. I put some money aside and EXPECT To lose it.... I'm not in it for the profit, never will be.
Try to gamble for profit, and you'll end up losing it.
In short - no , dumb idea.

Don't do it. I won some big amounts in sport betting and when I tried to do it consistently, I was losing often because I'm a bad gambler, and 99,99% of people are bad gamblers.
So unless you are the 0,1% of people that can actually put emotions aside and do it correctly, don't do it.
It takes time, experience and huge effort if you want to invest money with gambling, and yet, you will still most probably lose money.
Take that time, experience and effort into something more valuable and money maker.

I like to bet on the football at the weekend. If I win I have a little extra beer money, if I don't, I won't lose any sleep over it.
I know a lot of people make a living playing online poker, but I'm sure there are more ex-poker players living destitute than there are making a real living out of it.
