What Do You Think About Chatgpt 5.1, it piss me off

If you noticed the 5.1 is there and it ask too many question that piss me off before it start
maybe that way it will make better output but I don't like talking too much and I liked how previous gpt understand what I want from just few words

I agree. I have switched to grok for some of my ai needs. Chatgpt is generating lot of garbage. The version before 5 was better.
 
All that question asking and fumbling just to get you to correct it is just a way to keep you in the app longer and longer so that investors spend more and more

I don’t like it.
 
I love it. It asks so many questions, generates even better ideas that I can integrate into my app that I didn't think of originally. hehe. :D
 
I think main reason behind it is money, so API users can benfit more from it and spend more credits, rather than end user on the frontend app.

Me too
Sometimes I say "this is the last question i think" then it came up with something else that I didn't think about
but it's not always good as before when I needed that I was just telling chatgpt to ask me some questions before it start and I answer all the questions in one prompt

I think they are trying to.make it more human
But some stuff ain't working again
There was a method I use in getting content that was refused by it
Telling me it's against ethics

They are already under pressure on questions related to valuation. This might be reflecting in software design and upgrades.

How is grok any better? i saw a video comparing all ais and grok placed last or second last idr
 
The way it speaks is sooo bad! They should change the prompt.

^%& those youtubers, they are simps. I am telling based on my experience. Grok is fast, nimble, engaging and least biased.
 
I've completely left chatGPT. Very often, it simply cannot answer due to the prohibition of certain rules. I use Grok, which may not be as intelligent as chatGPT, but it will answer any of your questions.
 
I think GPT 5.1 is an attempt to catch up Claude un coding. I am using it as agentic code assistant in Augmented VS Code plugin and as far I could test last few days, it is really good

Yes, GPT-5.1 asks more questions by default, but I can switch to short, direct replies for you. Just tell me “short + direct mode” anytime.
 
live bench shows a higher instruction following score but in testing it is not even following basic instructions. Head back to gpt-5 instead.
 
I found chatgpt doing a lot more research than others when we insist that we need a solution. Claude produces a lot more content before hitting limits, so it's great for bulk data generation. Gemini is a noob. It couldn't match with chatgpt and Claude in either quality or quantity. For some reason, claude is fetching better data from Google SERPs than Gemini which is odd.

Chatgpt became heavily restricted. For example, I asked it to generate a feature image for a blog post with any random celebrities. It replied that it's a violation of terms of service and it can't generate pics of living people. I tried to talk some sense into it but it's not understanding. Gemini is also same for a similar issue. On the other hand, I tried to explain context to Claude on a similar issue and it understood. It apologized and started generating content. So, Claude is AI while chatgpt and Gemini are just databases with rules.
