I have a friend who has good painting skills. She draws very nicely, but we want her painting skills to earn an income. And I thought I'd share it with the BlackHat forum to get some ideas on how we can monetize her drawings.

What type of drawings?

You can consider open an online shop on Etsy or start an eCommerce POD website.

Does she do digital paintings? If she is a skilled artist she can start selling her services here in BHW as a Jr. VIP.

Also ask her to find the community / forum of artists on internet. BHW, being a internet marketing forum may have limited opportunities for her as an artist.

You can hang your paintings in local stores, that's how artists sell their art in my town. Stores like having paintings for free on their walls, and at the same time customers get aware of the artist's work and can buy it if they want.

Sell the paintings online. Use her to start first and then add more painters and scale this.

Giving painting lessons will probably make more money than selling artworks. Good painters are a dime a dozen, it's more a passion than a business IMO, unless you're Picasso.

Nowadays to find really talented designer is a difficult task. I am sure you have to make an advertisement for her, just make a portfolio, write good About me and that's all!!!!
