I've got some web developer traffic, I know they are more intelligent than the usual internet user but I want to sell them something of value, something they can find useful.

I got the traffic so I tried selling them some SEO services but not 1 sale so far. You guys have any Ideas?

Hey, I am also having a website that is based on web dev and receives 200+ UV daily. Only problem is I also don't know how to monetize it properly. So far I have used themeforest affiliate links in some posts, which made sales. But just today I made a animated banner ad (300X250) for my another site (that sells a SEO service) and put it up on the posts of my site. Lets see if it can bring traffic to other site.

Sell them an outsourcing service. Something like " hey man, give me the task you want done and your budget and I'll do it for you" type of stuff. You add a clause "if your budget is too low I reserve the right not to offer the service to you". Then off you go to freelancer.com or fiverr or whatever and make things happen while pocketing your profit. Basically you sell a project/task management service. Twist as you wish. Hope it helps.

Nice piece of advice UrsuAke, however it needs work and can by risky.

Web developers could buy royalty free images, website templates (html or wordpress for example), books and trainings.

    Take care,
    D

I ain't gonna spoonfeed him man. He needs to get the little aspects figured out by himself. IMO that method will work. I know web developers who constantly complain they have to do simple tasks and they don't have time to outsource. The best part is they will pay for a person to help out.

Actually that is good advice, I'm going to give it a try. The traffic isn't search engine traffic so this may be good.
