Hey guys !

So I have some experience with social media marketing and stuff before myself just from dealing with things and trying out techniques for differemt local businesses, but this is the first time I have been approached for my services.

A local business has approached me and asked if I could carry out an audit on their social media accounts along with my monthly fee for taking them over which is awesome. (Im just going to use it to cover my expenses during the month - still live at home in college so its not too bad).

Anyway I have no clue what to incldue in the reports? Should I use a few of them tools that are available online to get some analytics for them and stuff or what could be the best way to go about it?

I need it to be professional and stuff obviously so any advice would be awesome.

You already have an idea by doing things yourself of what it takes to be successful so start with that. Evaluate it based your own experience and knowledge. Create a spreadsheet or some type of work sheet that will allow you to plug information in and track it. I would recommend you start by listing everything they are currently doing via social media. Keep each platform separate and track everything. Take a look at what they have done in the past in order to build a community and a following. Evaluate what has worked for them and what hasn't, and based on what you know add to why it failed with your own expertise. Begin to track everything you do going forward so you can show them results. I would take what they are doing, what they have accomplished, and create your own custom plan for moving each thing forward and the expected results you believe you can achieve. Track everything, tweak things, test them, and impliment the best of what works.
