I need your help with some research I'm doing on the copywriting industry.

I want to gather data on what people hate the most about copywriting and use it to create a infographics or a short report.

There's a formula for good sales copy. Trying to figure that out drives me completely insane. I don't even bother with it. I just hire someone else to do it for me. I'll stick to content, thanks.

You're right, there is a formula.

Would you be willing to attempt to write your own copy if you knew what that formula was ... like if you had a step by step guide that showed you what to do - a cheat sheet for example.

Hell yes. It actually bothers me that I can't master it, because I want to. I just can't figure it out. I was actually going to take an $800 course on this very subject not even two weeks ago.

Everyone says that there is a formula, but nobody seems to tell what the formula is.
What I hate about copywriting is the clients response on the hard worked phrase just being declined in a second.

An average freelancer sometimes has to drop to $10/page, just to get business going. Decent average wages are around $50/hour, but to get there, you have to invest a lot of time and patience working with clients and having your work denied more often, than not.

Not even close, I know a few copywriters making 300k+ a year writing copy.

The thing I hate the most, is all the people who think they know how to do it, but don't have a f#cking clue.

Copywriting is a skill that takes time to master. Some writers still do not understand the intricacies and end purpose of a piece of copywriting.
