What do you guys usually do when this starts happening??

I dont get it... maybe you guys can figure it out.

k now the thing is that i have not received a single sale since january, i made my last sale in december.

almost all of them click my affiliate link and all of the traffic is targeted..

all of them come from google or msn..

ive got first page ranking for 4 to 5 keywords on both msn and google. one keyword is getting first place ranking in msn...

why am i not getting any sales

ive contacted my affiliate manager to ask them if there are any errors in my tracking url and that they should check it.

they said all is working fine. im using shareasale btw.

im baffeled here..

the niche is very competitive and rich...

ive also tried looking for other affiliates on other networks, in case their prices are lower.. but the difference is usually of $3 or $4.. not worth shifting to cj.com and leaving the money i already made at shareasale behind

Cookie stuff the page. That way if people leave it and buy from somewhere else, you'll still get that sale

White hat, huh...okay, here's the steps I take:

1. Check your links. Any site updating, etc. can bork the most unexpected things. Make sure you haven't nerfed your own links.

1a. Click your links and make sure they're still going where they're supposed to be. Sometimes the merchant will change their own site around, or make all the aff links aim at their home page...things like that.

2. Make sure the merchant still has the product you're aiming your links at in stock! It's amazing how many will sell out of things or even discontinue them, while not telling their affs about it.

3. Check the prices on the merchant site. Has there been an increase? It's been too long for "expired sale effect" (usually after a sale ends, conversions will tank for a while because people hate to have missed a sale).

4. Make sure you're not advertising a nonexistent sale or other dead offer. Same reason as above: people hate to have missed a sale. Advertising a dead sale will usually tank conversions.

5. I've found that this is the least likely scenario, but it's one to check if none of the other things turn out to be the problem. Check your merchant's EPC and other relevant stats. Have their network-wide numbers taken a dive? The problem could be on their end.

6. If all else fails, do a test with a different merchant and see if the new one performs a lot better than the current one. If so, switch your links.

Create some more mini sales sites.. around 5 and promote them together, so you don't have to worry if anyone of them (like this one) doesn't make any sales..

k ive done everything suggested by you guys and im still seeing tha same shit.

im going to change my site completely. till now it was html..plain old simple 4 pages of html.. id like to move to joomla...

the reason i hadnt done it till now is that I was waiting for ukescuba to comment.

anyone have any ideas as to how to make the transition and to transfer all of my SEO juice?

that is anything better than the plain old 301?
