Yeah pretty good, although quite a few plugins now don't work, but at least there was a message recommending ones that do.

I love firefox too but Chrome forever ^_^
I hated Chrome ever since it was created because i know am not even 0.01% private there... Always waited Firefox to do something like this to start using it... Firefox + DuckDuckGo + Disconnect.me + AdBlocker = Safe + Private Browsing = HAPPY FACE :)

I've been using it for 2 hours now. I didn't really like Firefox but the new version is surely considerably faster.

What do i think?

FF is too late with this no matter how super the new version is.
Most people switched to Chrome long ago and most of those won't switch back, people don't like changes. I'm talking about your everyday browser user and not developers.
FF once was great with its addon variety, nowadays Chrome is just as good in that regard too.

On top of that a lot of addons doesn't work with FF Quantum, addon developers need to catch up, if they ever will and not simply discontinuing the addons.

Fast? Good, but what else does it offer? You can make Chrome faster too with two addons (Data Saver, Web Boost) or simply upgrade your RAM, with Windows 10 8GB of RAM is recommended nowadays.

According to the various speed tests FF Quantum is not even faster than Chrome: http://mashable.com/2017/11/15/google-chrome-vs-firefox-quantum/#o3pbDJk57aqF

So what all the fuss is about? :)

Okay maybe its slower than Chrome for a really low amouth of time but its freaking faster than before and am really okay with this speed.. am taking in consider the privacy you have with Firefox :)

Installed FF57. Lost many of the addons that I use. Found replacements for those that were not already written for Web Extensions/ The only thing missing that I use regularly now is Cookies Manager and theme restorer.

Did not like the Stock theme and had to edit the userChrome file to move the tabs below the Bookmark bar and round the corners of the tabs. Found the CSS for Theme restorer on Github and tested some things out. Then removed them.

I went to a site that FF56 and below had problems with - over time the page load speed would slow to a crawl. So far no problems. The page load speed on all sites is significantly improved.

In reality, with modern browsers the only thing that is going to notice the speed difference is a browser test but FF57 is vastly improved over FF56. Some sites do not render properly, but that is my plugin configuration. If I disable the plugins, then those sites that do not display do display, and those sites that do not display properly display properly.

Even though I have Google Fiber, I have never cared for Chrome - even though I use Chrome occasionally for sites that I have difficulty with in FF with my add on configuration. Because of Google Fiber, privacy from Google is not possible.
