I think that i7 is unnecessary, atm programs are not made to use the full processing capabilities of i7, I would suggest getting the i5 2700k
Maybe get faster RAM and I would prefer to get 2 1TB disks rather than 1 with 2 TB

consider SSD for the OS and programs and store larger info on the 2TB HD

even at 128gb with an SSD for the OS you'll notice a major difference over a 7200 rpm hard drive

if running lots of VM's, consider more hard drives, personally I've found hard drive read/write speed is the biggest bottleneck these days for most operations, 7200rpm was mainstream back in 2004 and hasn't changed much. If not going SSD multi hard drives is the only real way to speed it up if running. (just personal 2 cents, I'm sure there's some here that are much better than me at this)

My limitations are always bandwidth not processing power. I can turn down the threads on most programs and let them go all day. For me, I'd rather have more monitors and VPS's.

There are plenty of programs that can get a nice boost from the i7 line over the i5 processors, including Adobe After Effects as one of the more known ones.

32GB seems a bit over the top... unless you're using it for a specific reason? If you could let us know what you plan to use it for, we could possibly point you in the right direction and suggest more things ^_^

Personally I think you should buy a small SSD (maybe a 64gb Crucial ssd) for loading your main programs and Windows, the speed difference is incredible. Also i7 seems a bit overkill, as does the amount of cooling you have - is there any reason for the excessive cooling products? If you can answer these then I'll be happy to respond again!

Make your primary HDD an SSD, and have the 2TB drive for storage.

I know you said SSD is too expensive, but dude it is well worth it, just look at the benchmark tests and how much faster SSD is than the regular SATA hard drives.

Well if that's the case then it's kind of ridiculous because it will just bottleneck your system and will not run at the same speeds as everything else, making it pretty pointless.
