What do you guys think about this kw?

Not really sure about this one. Do you think it is easy enough (for noob like me) to rank? The first page is wikipedia, the rest are mostly ecommerce sites (amazon, walmart..); there is also a facebook page in top 10 as well. (it's the same kw but Travis and LTp's results are a bit different)

No this isn't easiest KW to rank for... If you are noob like you said, try to find something easier first.

Yeah I have doubt about this one, but a facebook page (result 10 in LTP) is a sign of weakness right?

5400 per month

5400 searches per month? Not worth it I guess.

5.4k US search, 9k9 global, but I don't think it make a different.
Well back to the drawing board

Just do it mate, test it, you will never know if you don;t try it. Stop thinking and start doing it. If you make a mistake it doesn't matter, you will learn something along the way.

The number of searches are less. The effort and money you will put it to rank in wont yeild the result you might be expecting.

Is there any other affiliate sites ranked in the top 10? If the answer is no, and the search volume is 5.4k then no it's not worth it unless it's a VERY HIGH profit item and you have the resources to beat those big dogs.

Go for keywords with an average longtail pro Competition of 20 to 25, and volumes enough to help you monetize.

I go for any keyword with 2k+ monthly searches. I would say go for it

But shouldn't we care about competition also? This type of sites won't make much with Adsense (around $50/month, $100 if I'm lucky), so it'd be crazy to spend $1000 to rank it.

First of all, if there is amazon, wallmart, eCommerses in top10. Its usually isn't good to monezise with adsense, but with affiliates (like amazon) or with your own product/dropshipping - in that way 5k searches might be enought, but competition seems hard for newbies.

well, i personally think that this is not easy at all, but totally worth it though.

When i was new, i used to rank 10-20 low comp + low MS keyword, but i can guarantee spot 1-3.

But i really reccomend you to go for it.
