What Do You Get From Buying Aged Domains?

This question goes out to those who are buying existing domain names. I am just curious to know what the perks are in buying them other than its established status or "authority" online. I would appreciate your responses.

Usually, I get an aged domain when I buy aged domain.

Other than that, most of the BHW members buy it for the JuicePower it holds so they can use it for their PBN or build a money site on it and some of them buys it for the domain value itself that they thought would suit their business best.

Let's say someone's running a coffee shop startup and want to build a brand from it and they see an expiring domain called moonbucks.com, they'd simply go for it as a similar domain starbucks.com is in the same niche.

I mean, what are the perks you get from buying the domain aside from the page authority.

@ContentWriter the main reason of buying aged domain name by SEO experts lies on "authority that have been accumulated" (subjected to verifications by getting spam free domain through uses of various tools like BuzzSumo, archive.org etc) by the domain in question. This gives them access in ranking their keywords easily instead of start scratch.

I hope this gives you a little insight why experts are buying aged domains?

Traffic
Domain Age
Backlinks

If we are talking here about auction domains that are close to expiring, then their age plays no role. It's all about the age of the content, which is in most of the cases already deindexed to huge extent so forget the age.

There might be some traffic, but unless you rebuild the site, the traffic will soon be gone, so this is not the primary focus here either.

The entire point is their backlink profile. Whether you want to use these domains as PBNs or as money sites, this is the kind of domains to use. You are already buying a domain with backlinks in place. Backlinks, that you would never get yourself and that you would have to spend a lot on.
