What do you do with new content?

I am trying to get my site to move up in the rankings so I have been going through and creating new and unique content. I have read many times over that content is king but it seems like there is also some technique on how you link to the content and how you promote it. That is the part that I am not quite sure how to do most effectively. I submitted my new article/content to 1 social bookmarking site but was curious where you guys post and promote your new content, and do you do it as you create the content or do you wait until you have them in bulk? Should I also submit my new content to pinging sites so that search engines will index it quicker?

Unless you are going for contextual backlinks, I wouldn't be submitting much in the way of unique content to other sites. It would be best to just add it to your site and let the search engine spiders crawl it manually. Once you have a few backlinks, the spiders will crawl it at least a couple times a day.

So would would be the next step once I add an article to my site, just keep adding? Or should I promote them somewhere?

I just write a new article which is 100% unique and put it in my money site. Then I rewrite it and put in the Web 2.0s.then spin those articles to use for article marketing. And Its the best way i think.

do you have the web2.0 articles work as link wheels? or just a link directly back to your money site? Also, how much do you change in the original unique article before putting it into web2.0?

keep posting fresh content to your site and take the link and do backlinking on it.Ping your site after every update at http://www.pingoat.com ,It helps you index your site faster
