Take time off and rethink everything.
What does it bring? Except more procrastination?
A clearer mind and relaxation.
- Get a small win even if it’s unrelated to what you’re stuck on.Well, pretty 'meh' question but would like to know how to get out of this 'feeling stuck' zone. There's so much to do yet you can't push yourself to do those things.
I relate to this so much, I shut down everytime. I am working on it though. Thanks!I am in a completely different field, retail and just happened to stumble across this site the other day and I cannot even tell you why. I was searching for something. I agree with much of the advice above. Life can easily become seemingly overwhelming and when that feeling happens to me or possibly many, our first reaction wrongly is to shut down. This is me at least and it is of terrible quality. I would recommend doing something like someone else stated, intellectually break it up into smaller steps. No more big picture for a time, small picture, and slowly one by one accomplish successfully small picture things. I think that is great advice.
that is great advice, thanks! Sadly, I can't stop myself from having the thoughts that you mentioned on a loop everyday.- Get a small win even if it’s unrelated to what you’re stuck on.
- Help someone who is not as far in their journey as I am.
- Go for a run.
- Make someone smile or feel good about themselves.
- Call someone that always pumps me up.
Then get back to it.
As entrepreneurs it’s easy to look at others ahead of you and think “I need to be doing more” or “I’m not growing fast enough”. But I bet you’ve got people in your life that look at you like you hung the moon. You’re a rockstar!
The idea of "what should I do" is overwhelming to begin with. There are so many options to get into yet you can't pick one, that is messing me up!So, a checklist or a goal that you're trying to achieve will go a long way.
Discipline yourself to work towards whatever goal it is you're working on with smaller goals & small rewards for yourself in between.
This won't fix everything right away but will help you get started & hopefully jiggle you 'loose' over time.![]()
