When the page already lies close to page one, then I pay attention to what takes place after the click instead of before the click. The addiition of a comparison table, screennshots, or just a brief introduction on the top of the page has got some pages ranking higher for me without having created any backlinks. What do you usually do to give your blog articles a bit of extra support and strengthen their rankings? I don't want to buy expensive backlinks for them. They're already near the bottom of the first page, the content is strong, and they already receive internal links. They just need a little extra boost, but they're not valuable enough to justify costly backlinks.
