What do you do to avoid dmca get whois info?

Hi, If I am selling ebooks against dmca policy, using offshore hosting, what can dmca do to my domain? do they block it? use that information?
Should I use fake id for both domain and hosting?
I am little lost, I read that they try to shut down the hosting.

If it's offshore you should not worry about the hosting. As for the domain name use whoisguard or any other domain privacy tool... but they will still be able to send you DMCA complaints
