I wondered why my traffic had been dwindling and I created a little script to check all my accounts if they are shadowbanned and it turns out like 60% of them have been.
Do you just abandon them if this happens? Is it permanent or is there a way out of it? Someone just told me 'wait 24 -72 h and start posting again' but I have never heard of that implying it is only a temp measure?
Some of the shadowed accounts I had a couple hundred followers on so they still get engagement from those users but others got shadowed in like the first day so unless it can be reversed then those latter ones are dead in the water.
So the main question is whether it is true that you can be unshadowed or if it is indeed a permanent thing?
Oh also how to prevent it in future? I have only been very conservative with posting - only once every 3-4 hours - and no following. Only used 1-3 tags so I don't know what caused them to get shadowed. Surely those settings are not aggressive?
So opinions please.
