Check this pic out. What do you call that shape which has "Royal Wedding" inside?

I would call it a square with inverted corners.

Probably not the technical term.

That's the Batman logo

Sorry OP, my knowlege of geometry ends abruptly after "square" and "circle".

I don't know if it could be even called as a regular geometrical shape. Looks like an abstract art of a dog bone to me.
