What do these SEOs do ?

I was browsing through indeed and job posting sites and came through full time positions offering $25-30/hour and was wondering that what these guys do on a daily basis ?
Do they build links, do stuff that a usual affiliate SEO would do ?

I know it's a weird question to ask but it'd be great if someone having an experience working full-time in companies like these would share their work process and stuff.

I'm curious as well - looking for a part-time but long term position as an SEO too

Yes They build links.. Some people are skilled in link building and some people just cant.

Wasn't that mentioned in the job responsibilities section?

There is On-Page and Off-Page SEO so maybe they are optimizing the content on the site, adding interlinking to the articles, optimizing page meta title - descriptions... There is a lot of work on On-Page SEO that can be done in the meantime of just building links.

Seo's are the people who do everything to make site grow by organic activities.
Let's divide them

1. They do all the necessary changes or cordinate with developer so site can get crawled in best way and can use maximum crawl budget allocated by search engines.

2. They take care of all the necessary on-page level elements that can help user to find right answer of their question and can also meet business objective without hearting user experience.

3. They work with PR team, Content team, SMM team, Data analyst team, email marketing team, and by self work on link building plan so they can build authority of that site.
